An Argeneau Novel
By Lynsay Sands
Release Date- 9/22/20
Review Date- 4/17/20

Publisher Summary-

In a sizzling new Argeneau novel from New York Times bestselling author Lynsay Sands, a gorgeous mortal encounters his greatest temptation…
For almost a century, Ildaria Garcia has been on the run, a trouble magnet with a knack for taking down bad guys. Lately, her vigilante tendencies have drawn unwelcome attention to her fellow Immortals. Forced to relocate, Ildaria is supposed to lay low in a new town. Instead, she quickly entangles herself with six and a half feet of muscular, tattooed trouble.
Joshua James Simpson Guiscard, aka G.G., knows a lot about Immortals—enough to make him wary. Yet from the moment Ildaria walks into his club, he feels desire stronger than anything he’s known. Accepting the fact that they might be life mates is disconcerting. But when her past catches up to them, G.G. faces a choice—confront his demons at last, or lose a passion that’s hot as hell.

Audioloversblog Review

I was so excited to hear that GGs story was coming out. Most of that was me as a mom. If my child was mortal and I immortal, I would be constantly consumed with worry.
Ildaria was a character that I was intrigued by in previous books. She was so mysterious and kind and well, interesting... I wanted her to have her happily ever after (when I realized who she was- the gal from the pirate ship in Vampires Like it Hot)
Both of these characters are plagued with insecurities and they are allowing their past pains to decide their future happiness. To me, that past was something that made it easier for the other to understand.
I love them as a couple. I love GG as a person and I’m so happy they got their HEA.
Saw the twist coming. It’s okay to see twists coming, ya know? That doesn’t make it a bad thing. Something being predictable isn’t a bad thing it’s just a thing.  Sometimes things just click and that makes them predictable. Or we know the World the stories exist in. So, don’t consider it a bad thing if you see something coming ❤️

Afterthoughts-
I’m doing this because there are some things I think fans will notice...

I’m gonna give a few lines here...

So you can turn back...

Hide from spoilers...

Because I may post stuff...

You won’t know....

Unless....

You....

Read...

These....

Books....

Okay- last chance is now. Next line I’ll stab at some things that are spoilers....

Still here? K.

First- the predictable things is as always acceptable but almost seems deliberate in this case.

Juan is Vasco’s father.

Vasco found a possible life mate who also found another possible life mate at the same time in Vampires like it hot.

Juan is a possible life mate for Ildaria who has a possible life mate in GG as well.

Marguerite is now looking for possible life mates for both of them... honestly it just makes me sad and confused all at once. Mostly because too much drama is not a favorite read for me.

Now, on to the next. The two hundred year old virgin- Ildaria. Ok. She was fourteen when turned. Never had sex at any point. In Immortal Born we have a similar situation where they discuss the hymen and regrowth, etc. In this story, this isn’t even talked about at all. I’m assuming that it’s actually just one of those “she doesn’t realize her hymen is growing back until sometime later because Life Mate Sex is so friggin hot” but thought it was, probably, worth some pondering.
