Madison's Mess- Robyn Peterman
By: Robyn Peterman Narrated by: Lance Greenfield, C J Bloom Series: Sea Shenanigans, Book 4 Length: 5 hrs and 46 mins Unabridged Audiobook Release date: 06-25-19 Language: English Publisher: Audible Studios
What could possibly go wrong when a mermaid and a werewolf are sent on a dangerous mission by the drunken, diaper-wearing God of the Sea?
Better question. What could possibly go right?
Madison Unlike my sisters, I haven’t found my HEA. And I’m looking - hard. But finding a man who wants to blowhole dive in Hawaii on the first date is more difficult than you might imagine. I’ve been forced to settle for a few meaningless orgasms with men who disappear when I suggest fun activities, like scaling 20 stories while blindfolded.
Look, I know meaningless nookie won’t help me find my happily-ever-after, or even a guy who believes tightrope handstands over the Grand Canyon are fun. But there is someone out there for me so next time I do the horizontal mambo, it’s for keeps.
May the gods help me. Well, me and whoever I boink next.
Rick Being a vegan werewolf has its drawbacks. I’ve been exiled from my pack and even the petting zoo of deer, rabbits, and raccoons I keep safely tucked away from my fellow weres isn’t enough to banish the loneliness I feel. Talking to myself is becoming dangerous. Just two days ago out of stupefying boredom, I made a wager with myself that I could fly. It didn’t end well.
Thankfully Poseidon is sending me on a mission. Unfortunately, it’s with a crazy Mermaid who has a worse reputation for death-defying recreation than me.
I have no clue what’s in store, but may the gods help me. Well, me and this swimming hottie, because I’m totally down.
Madison is an interesting gal! Always ready to get into something. Always ready to stir things up. Always up for a challenge. Here comes Poseidon ready to help muddy the waters and make her life a bit more, um, amazing. Rick is, well, more mature than the rest of the guys in the stories. He’s not as immature but still he’s twice as ridiculous in his stunts. So, yay. He’s still an idiot. The thing that is common in all these books is stupid lines and comments. This doesn’t bother me because I guess I’m still goofy enough to deal with it but if you are like “oh my gosh, say wang one more time and I’m going to freak out” then probably not your cup of tea. But if you can handle super immature characters 90% of the time that sound ridiculous in all they do then yay! Read up! They are basically sent on a mission by Poseidon and I’m pretty sure that he just set then up in every way possible to go absolutely insane. Lance Greenfield and CJ Bloom show some amazing talent in here and I love listening to them! So- wrapping up. Sexy times- not memorable. Mild at best. Immature jokes- to insanity and beyond. Sweet and cute twist- awe to the highest power.
First of all, thank you for considering me for your
blog tour. It’s brand new but it’s something I’m really passionate about. I
have roughly 1300 audiobooks but I have to say yours are ones I return to over
and over. It’s an amazing twist to a vampire universe.
Thank you! I’m so happy to be
here. And I’m thrilled to hear you’re enjoying my Immortal Guardians series. I
have always loved vampire stories, both those in the romance genre and those in
horror, so I couldn’t resist writing my own and putting a new spin on it. Kirsten
Potter is a fantastic narrator. As you know, this series boasts an ensemble
cast. The immortals really are like a big family even though they come from a
variety of countries and eras. And Kirsten has done a fabulous job of giving each
and every one of them his or her own unique voice. I probably shouldn’t admit
this, but I didn’t really get into audiobooks until I heard her narrate
DARKNESS DAWNS, the first book in the series. I loved it, and have been hooked
Thanks so much Kathleen for stopping by and answering my questions about Forever Ventured! Audio Lovers Blog is really new, making you my second interview with an author. I do have 1,300 audiobooks, including all of yours. (Side note- Women of Power is Amazing!) Bonus- I’m from The Ashland Kentucky Area and my kitchen is, due to a lost bet 15 years ago, University of Kentucky themed.
When we finished Abby and Dylan’s story, Pierce tells Dylan that he wasn’t like his siblings or himself though he’s still just as smart as they are and that they are still alike in some ways. I get the feeling that Wyatt is a lot like Katelyn but I’m wondering if there’s a little bit, or even a lot, of Marshall in there? Wyatt is actually more like his Great Grandfather Beauford Wyatt. But as you’ll hear, just because Wyatt isn’t Special Forces or in law enforcement, doesn’t mean he didn’t pick up a thing or two. One should never underestimate a gentleman.
